A force to be reckoned with

No matter how hard {HARD} or how long {2 years, 8 months, 13 days} you fight it, it’s bound to happen.

Character goods are just not my thing. I’d prefer something a little more generic. That’s my personal choice. My 2 year old’s choice is clearly different. I suggeseted the Hello Kitty one (yes, I know that’s not generic but it’s the lesser of two evils. And no, I don’t think Disney Princess’ are evil). She replied, “no, that’s for Serene.” She knows her cousin so well.

The above picture was not staged. She really fell asleep like that. Gotta love her.

Yeah, remember when they are little and they are happy playing with an empty cardboard box? Then it's the character stuff, then later it's designer jeans. 😉 Even if you try to avoid encouraging it, other people will do it for you!

Disney Princesses are kinda evil. LOL What I mean is, I can't think of one that is truly a positive role model for girls.

I don't want my girls to aspire to be princesses who don't do much besides fall in love. I've never met a boy who aspires to be a prince who does nothing but fall in love. Maybe they exist. I don't know.

Now I'm getting into the teenager stuff and wow, it's a lot more complicated than Disney Princesses. LOL

The picture is absolutely adorable. 🙂
