Disconnected

It’s been one week since my precious phone fell to it’s demise from my pocket as I was running through a torrential downpour. Why was I running? Because my dear hubby lost my umbrella.

But you see, I didn’t realize that I dropped my phone until I got home. So I quickly jumped back into my car and went back to where I suspected it had fallen.  I didn’t even think I would find it but I had to at least try.  And there it was.  All sad and lonely in the middle of the crosswalk, drowning in the rain.

Internet access or not, I feel so disconnected from the world.  My goodness, where were we before cell phones and Internet anyway?

Rest in piece(s)…er, peace.

Be sure to come back Monday for a very special post.  😀
