Eid Tradition: Eid Treat Bags

The Eid treat bags appeared again this year. I had intentions to go a different route and make a new bag but time didn’t allow it.  I’m lucky I still had a few of the paper ones left.

This year’s loot:

  • Mini Playdoh – I know, I know I always give these out. I love them!
  • Sparkly pencils
  • Mini bubbles
  • Hair tie and hair clip sets
  • Mini flashlights
  • Stickers
  • Tootsie Rolls
  • Halal sour worms – Not shown, brought back from Palestine
  • “Happy Eid” balloons – From Silver Envelope, won in a giveaway offered by Maroc Mama
  • Glow in the dark spiders – For the single boy in the group.
  • Rainbow chip cookies

For the older girls in the set, I just included hair ties, a flashlight (eh, you never know?), two bags of sour worms, cookies, and a “Eid Mubarak” bookmark (also from Silver Envelope won in the Maroc Mama giveaway). All the bags were sealed up using the cute “Happy Eid” sticker labels that were included in my giveaway prize pack.  Thank you MarocMama and Silver Envelope!

I love your Eid treat bags, and each year you are so inspirational as to what you put in!

I’m glad you like them. They’ve been a bit redundant the past few times as I try to narrow down my little treat stock. Hopefully next time I’ll switch it up, I hope.

Love this- we do Eid gift bags every year and for the past couple of years, IR USA in Dallas has been giving out 1000 goody bags after Eid prayers. Love this!

    Absolutely adorable!!
I miss being a kid. I’d still actually be excited to get the stuff you put into this goodie bag, lol. I laughed at: “a flashlight (eh, you never know?)”
I miss play dough! I miss the smell, actually!

Thank you Mariam! I know, I wish I was still a kid getting a goodie bag too. Maybe I’ll pull one together for the moms next Eid.
Having little kids I get to smell play-doh on a regular basis. Jealous? Can’t get enough of that stuff.

You’re so welcome!! Love that the goodies sent made it into the bags!!

    • Amnah says:

Thank you Amanda! The kids loved all of the new stuff. Can’t wait to put the rest to use for the next Eid.
