Old is the new new. After at least a year of thinking about it, I finally went to the flea market in Alameda on Sunday. I am so glad I did. I was really overwhelemed by the amount of stuff there honestly. So much to check out. Unfortunately I went really late so I ended up going through really quickly. I went in with a plan to find two lamps. And two lamps are exactly what I found.
Aaaah, I love them! They were the exact shape and size I was looking for. I really couldn’t believe I found them. I paid $35 for both! I also found a huge glass jar that I’ll blog about later. Next month I’m going back for sure with Iman. On my list will be an office chair, nightstands, and an end table.
So I haven’t decided what color I want to spray paint them. It all depends on where I’m going to use them. Still haven’t decided that either. What I do know for sure is that I want to cover drum shades with Amy Butler fabric for a totally customized look. I can’t wait to use these!
