Last week as I was preparing Maysoon to take her to the doctor’s office, Jenin requested that I bring her back one of the sugar free lollipops that they keep at the front desk. Considering she had been behaving particularly well while me and Maysoon were sick, I agreed.
Getting Maysoon dressed in her bedroom, Jenin called out from the kitchen table asking how to spell “pink”. I proceeded to yell out ” p i n k” without thinking anything of it. Since she’s learned to write her letters, she continually asks me how to spell certain words during random parts of the day.
I came to gather my purse and such when I found this:
via my cell phone |
Jenin: (in Arabic) “I wrote you a list so that you don’t forget which lollipop I want.”
How cute!
Mommy's little reminder! So cute, Masha'allah!
Ohhh! That's so cute. Mashaallah.
Awww! It's these kind of moments that make all the screaming and crying worth it.
Seriously, this made my day. A classic example of kids imitating their parents. I'm constantly making lists. I think I might even have a list of my lists somewhere.
I'm glad you all enjoyed this as well. 🙂
